Laboratory Introduction

Prof. Zhao has been engaged in thebiosynthesis and function of calcium messenger cADPR derived from NAD, and thedevelopment of tools for targeting NAD metabolism/signaling as well asneurodegenerative diseases. 40 SCI papers in journals such as PNAS, eLife andScience Signaling has been published.

Job Description

A position for research assistant is nowavailable to research on the mechanism of cellular NAD signaling. We areseeking highly-motivated candidates with independent research capabilities andstrong teamwork skills.

Applicants should have:

1.A BSc or MSc degree in a relevantresearch area including but not limited to biology, chemistry and neurology;

2.Experience in laboratory is preferred.

Job Duties include:

1.Conducting academic research under theguidance of your supervisor;

2.Supporting other members of thisresearch group in scientific researches;

3.Some admin work.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Salary will be comparable to internationalstandards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments willbe made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will beprovided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well asCUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
